Brickcast is committed to empowering local communities through skills development and sustainable employment opportunities. Since 1994, we have proudly provided skilled personnel to train and support community labour–based programs, helping to build both infrastructure and long-term capabilities within local areas.

Our involvement in these initiatives has played a meaningful role in projects such as the Ntuzuma Block 3 and 4 developments and the Kwa-Mashu Paved Roads project. Through hands-on training and mentorship, Brickcast has helped community members gain valuable construction and paving skills that create lasting economic and social impact.

Below are just a few of the local initiatives that Brickcast has proudly supported over the years, reflecting our ongoing commitment to community growth, collaboration, and empowerment.

  1. Open Air School - Brickcast has supported educational environments that promote inclusive learning and development. By contributing to initiatives such as open-air schools, we help create safe, functional spaces that encourage education, growth, and opportunity within the community.
  2. KZN Chess Association - Through our involvement with the KZN Chess Association, Brickcast has backed programmes that foster strategic thinking, discipline, and youth development. Chess plays an important role in building confidence, critical thinking skills, and positive engagement among young participants.
  3. Religious Institutes - Brickcast has assisted numerous religious institutions that serve as pillars within their communities. These spaces provide not only places of worship, but also centres for support, guidance, and social cohesion.
  4. Cultural Upliftment - We are committed to supporting cultural upliftment initiatives that celebrate heritage, identity, and community pride. By investing in cultural programmes, Brickcast helps strengthen social bonds and promote long-term community well-being.
